IFO

What is an IFO?
IFO stands for initial farm offering. It is akin to an ICO or an IEO but it is offered on DEXs instead of following the same pattern as ICOs. An IFO operates as a fundraising mechanism for new projects, the only difference from an ICO is that this is performed via DEXs. Due to the shift from CEXs to DEXs, newer forms of crowdfunding have sprung up and become more common. IFOs are the future!
Users should always do research and their due diligence on new projects as this is the prerogative of the user. A project could comply with our vetting process and slip through the cracks or get hacked, so please always research thoroughly and understand the associated risks.
What do I get with a JavaSwap IFO listing?

What criteria do I have to fulfil for a successful listing?
In order to be successfully listed as a JavaSwap IFO, you need to meet the following requirements:
You need to have a fully functional website.
You need to send proof that you are the owner or part of the team of the project in order to authenticate. If we can’t validate you, then we can’t accept you. Verification is essential for us. This only requires one person, we don’t need to authenticate your whole team. Only the owner needs to provide proof in order to provide validity.
Clear, public and detailed tokenomics.
You need to have at least 3 social media platforms already established and have authentic user engagement.
Your github or repository needs to be clear and publicly available somewhere on your website for all users to see.
Successfully fill out all the information required in our IFO launch form here and provide sufficient detail.
That’s it!
What happens if the IFO target is not reached?
IFO crowdfunding is slightly different from typical fundraising mechanisms. If the IFO’s initial target is not met, user’s funds are still spent and the sales will proceed as normal, but fewer tokens will be distributed than anticipated.
